Hi everyone! 🍁 It’s Mandy, and today, I’m sharing one of my all-time favorite fall destinations—Woodstock, Vermont. If you’ve been dreaming of a picture-perfect autumn escape where vibrant leaves line the streets, the air is crisp, and the maple syrup is as sweet as the locals, then Woodstock is calling your name!

Sweeten the Deal with Vermont’s Famous Maple Syrup

Now, I can’t talk about Woodstock without gushing over the maple syrup. You guys, it’s next-level. Vermont is famous for producing some of the best syrup in the world, and Woodstock is right in the heart of syrup country. I always tell my clients, “You haven’t really had maple syrup until you’ve tried it fresh from a local farm.”

Make sure to stop by Sugarbush Farm, where you can see how syrup is made, sample all the sweet goodies, and even try maple cream (spoiler alert: you’ll be taking a jar home). It’s one of those experiences where you feel like a local, and the farm’s down-to-earth charm makes you feel right at home.

Fall Foliage That’ll Take Your Breath Away
Let’s talk about the main event: those fall colors! Woodstock transforms into an autumn wonderland every year, and it’s like Mother Nature shows off just for us. The entire town is draped in shades of red, orange, and gold, making it feel like you’re walking through a postcard. And whether you’re an avid hiker or more of a leisurely stroller (no judgment here!), there’s a path for you.

If you’re up for a little adventure, head over to the Mount Tom Trail. This trail is the perfect mix of “wow” views without being too intense, and when you reach the top, you’ll be rewarded with a panoramic look at the town below, all covered in its autumn glory. Trust me, you’ll want your camera ready for this one!

Cozy Inns and Luxury Getaways

After a day of leaf-peeping and syrup tasting, there’s nothing better than kicking back at one of Woodstock’s cozy inns. Whether you’re into luxury stays or quaint bed-and-breakfast vibes, this town has you covered. One of my personal favorites is The Woodstock Inn & Resort—a perfect blend of charm, history, and all the pampering you deserve.

Imagine curling up by a roaring fire, hot chocolate in hand, after a day of exploring. Sounds dreamy, right? And for those of you looking to relax, the spa at The Woodstock Inn is like a little slice of heaven.

Family Fun for All Ages

Woodstock is also an amazing spot for a family getaway. There are so many activities that kids (and the young at heart) will love—apple picking, hayrides, and pumpkin carving, just to name a few. And if you’re up for a bit of history with a side of fun, stop by Billings Farm & Museum. The kiddos can learn about Vermont’s farming roots, try their hand at butter churning, and take a wagon ride through the fields. It’s both educational and super fun!

Why Woodstock Should Be Your Next Fall Escape

Woodstock in the fall is, in a word, magical. Whether you’re craving some peaceful nature time, a luxurious weekend away, or a fun-filled family adventure, this charming Vermont town has it all. The vibrant foliage, cozy accommodations, sweet maple syrup farms, and welcoming locals make it a must-visit for your autumn travels.

So, who’s ready to pack their bags and head to Woodstock? Let me help you plan the perfect fall getaway. Whether it’s a romantic weekend, a solo retreat, or a family trip, I’ll make sure your Woodstock experience is unforgettable.
